Proving its longevity, "Stairway" hit the U.K. charts again last fall and was a top download in the U.S., after ZEPPELIN's first downloadable album launched on iTunes. But because the band is notoriously protective of its work, "Stairway" hasn't met its full moneymaking potential. While other artists have made big bucks by licensing songs to Hollywood and Madison Avenue think of Bob Dylan's "Love Sick" in that Victoria's Secret commercial ZEPPELIN has shunned most opportunities.

The obvious difference, of course, between Love Sick and Stairway, is that Stairway is one of the most revered songs of all-time. When Bob Dylan has Like A Rolling Stone and The Times They Are A-Changin' hawking products, then we'll talk.

I don't think that there will ever be much of "hawking products" with Dylan's stuff in the background. Fans of Dylan might not mind it, but I don't think that the general public is going to rush out and buy something when they hear Dylan singing anything in the background.

And yet, Achilles Last Stand is so much better.

Achilles Last Stand is great, Stairway is great (but played out), I think my favorite Zeppelin song is Since I've Been Loving You, but it really depends on how I'm feeling.
