Phil Collins Wanted To Walk Off Stage At Led Zeppelin Reunion

Phil Collins reveals that he was tempted to walk off stage in the middle of Led Zeppelin's reunion set at Live Aid where he joined the surviving members of the group to perform at the event. The Genesis drummer looks back in an excerpt from his new autobiography Not Dead Yet.

I just read the article and I still can't figure out from the text why Phil walked off. Maybe its because I'm up late and haven't had much sleep, but it just seems like the article is little unclear.

Phil never actually walked off but he wanted to walk off.

Seems like he was pissed that A) there were two drummers playing at the same time and B) the performance sucked (at least according to him, I've never seen it).

I didn't realize people blamed Collins for that set lol. Can't even hear him. Plant sounded way off, and Page was obliterated drunk. Good to hear Collins at least stand up for himself there.
