Re: Albums where you liked EVERY song on the record

If I sat and thought about it, I'm sure I could come up with a list as long as HRJ's. I'm not going to think that long though.

Off the top of my head, albums that I like every single song on (in no particular order):

Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon
Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here
Kiss - Alive!
Kiss - Dressed To Kill
Kiss - Creatures of the Night
Judas Priest - British Steel
Judas Priest - Screaming for Vengeance
Judas Priest - Defenders of the Faith
Judas Priest - Hell Bent For Leather
Judas Priest - Stained Class
Motley Crue - Shout at the Devil
Metallica - The Black Album
Metallica - ... And Justice For All
Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Def Leppard - High and Dry
Def Leppard - Pyromania
Tesla - Mechanical Resonance
Tesla - Great Radio Controversy
Dokken - Tooth and Nail
Dokken - Under Lock and Key
Dokken - Back For The Attack
Dokken - Beast From The East
AC/DC - Back in Black
Van Halen - I
Deep Purple - Machine Head

Dio - Dream Evil
Dio - Lock Up The Wolves
Black Sabbath - Paranoid
Black Sabbath - Heaven and Hell
Black Sabbath - The Mob Rules
Stevie Ray Vaughan - Texas Flood
Scorpions - Love at First Sting

Lita Ford - Dancing On The Edge
W.A.S.P. - The Last Command
Prince - 1999
Prince - Purple Rain
Michael Jackson - Thriller
Bon Jovi - New Jersey
Bon Jovi - Slippery When Wet
Guns n Roses - Appetite for Destruction
Fleetwood Mac - Rumours
Led Zeppelin - II
Queensryche - Empire
Lynch Mob - Wicked Sensation
Lynch Mob - Lynch Mob
Steelheart - Steelheart
Waylon Jennings - Ol' Waylon
Waylon Jennings - Dreaming My Dreams
Waylon Jennings - Waylon Live
Waylon Jennings - I've Always Been Crazy

Edit: eesh, I just did that 'quick' off the top of my head. If I sat and thought about it for a while... egads it'd be a longer list indeed.

Re: Albums where you liked EVERY song on the record

Too many to mention. All of the Beatles' canonical stuff from Rubber Soul on. Almost every note ever played or sung by Bruce Cockburn (the only exception I can think of is "Bicycle Trip" from his first album, honestly). A few notable albums I feel this way about:

Something/Anything by Todd Rundgren
Deja Vu by Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young
All That You Can't Leave Behind by U2
The Joshua Tree by U2
Close to the Edge by Yes
Memory Almost Full by Paul McCartney
Pices, Aquarius, Capricorn, & Jones, Ltd. by the Monkees
Faith Hope Love by King's X

That's a very partial list. There are many, many albums that I enjoy from start to finish.

That basically goes for me as well. But, the early Beatles, the Classic 7 from the Moody Blues, and the fabulous concept albums from the Alan Parsons Project head my list.

I should add Nirvana, Unplugged. I can listen to it from start to finish over and over -without wanting to kill myself.
