Unique must mean voices I mostly hate to begin with. I like Bowie and thats about it on that list.

Not a bad list, agree with Nick Cave and Tom Waits and Axl Rose for sure. Would have included Neil Young (over Bowie), and maybe someone more modern like Colin Meloy of the Decemberists.

Love John Hiatt's "cigarettes and booze" baritone. I would have included him on the list.

Oh, and as far as unique, check out Brad Roberts from Crash Test Dummies. I've often heard cows call back in response. Definitely an acquired taste.
