Re: Kudos to Zombeels

Many of us have talked and talked about doing a list like this.
Zombeels went out and did it.

I want to give a shout out to Zombeels too. Great idea and it brought in a lot of participation from the members.

Re: Kudos to Zombeels

So a couple weeks ago I downloaded Consequence of Sounds 100 Greatest records of All Time playlist. I played it on shuffle and it was pretty cool. But it got me thinking of Zombeelís epic top 100 list on CRF2. So when I was out of town for work earlier this week, I went on CRF2 and looked it up. First of all, that list was made in 2007! 😱 It was, obviously, more classic rock oriented than the COS list. So I went ahead and made a Spotify playlist based on that list. Itís called Zombeelís Epic CRF2 Top 100 Albums. I have included 5 songs each from the top ten and 3 each from the rest. Check it out wonít you. And please, take to the comments to bitch about my song choices! Itíll be just like old times!!!

Re: Kudos to Zombeels

I listened to a dozen tracks or so when I heard Epitaph by King Crimson. It wasn't the 21st Century Schizoid version, but it had me going for awhile (until I realized, that's not Greg Lake). I wish there were more King Crimson releases on Spotify, but at least you found a version that was very similar - I'll have to check out that live album.

Were there any other albums/versions that you had to substitute for Zombeel's original list?
