Revolution

Which version of the song Revolution do you prefer? The single or the album version?

Re: Revolution

Single version most definately. It has much more bite than the album version.

Re: Revolution

I guess I can't vote for the single version as it was done on the video, with the "shoo-be-dooo-wah" backing vocals.

Of those two, I pick the flip of "Hey Jude" with ease.

The flip side of Hey Jude was the one I was referring to.

I've got it, and would be happy to upload it somewhere for you. It's sourced from an official CD, too.

Re: Revolution

From the Poll I like the Album version...

But from the Not listed file I echo Joeys choice of the shoobie do bop version. That rocks! Too bad they didnt actually play their instruments live for that session. If Im not mistaken they only did the Vocals live.

EXACTLY the version I was thinking of also Joey. The one with that great video. I'll go with the "fast" one though.

Why isn't Revolution #9 part of the poll?

Re: Revolution

Single version. It rocks, the album version is a bit too slow.

Re: Revolution

Single version, but there's elements I like about both of them The album version doesn't sound like any other song ever. A really distinctive style.

At this point in my life, it's a dead tie. Love 'em both.
