The NRA’s Featured Country Stars

With Rosanne Cash’s recent claim that the NRA are funding domestic terrorism in the New York Times yesterday, I followed her link to the NRA Country website https://www.nracountry.com/home to see which country artists were less tacit in their support of the National Rifle (rifle???) Association.

Country doesn’t own the glock market, rap is all about armed force, but rap doesn’t give us bullshit about the wild outdoors and hunting as heritage, rap wants to kill each other for drugs and money. NRA Country is a baffling load of nonsense, though everyone knows that guns are as American as Apple Pie and far more deadly. The names to note here are Florida Georgia Line, Montgomery Gentry (well, one of them), and Blackberry Smoke. If you follow country to any extent you’ll know quite a few… “Respect. Honor. Freedom” indeed.

Re: The NRA’s Featured Country Stars

I see Storme Warren is on the list of NRA Country enthusiasts. He was at the concert in Las Vegas, I wonder how he feels about it now.

After Vegas Shooting, Country Music's NRA Ties Show Signs of Fraying

Major country artists seem to be backing away from NRA relationships after the deadliest shooting in modern American history

Re: The NRA’s Featured Country Stars

People buy guns because they're a fashion statement. They are signs of overblown machismo.

The NRA is bad enough, but hip-hop culture (ironically liberal) is just obsessed with weapons as any redneck.

I dream of the day when all weapons will be disposed of and we can live in peace, but I'm pretty sure we'll kill ourselves all off before that ever comes close to happening.
