Re: Hijacked classic songs

Sandra's weak version of Mike & The Mechanics' great song, "Silent Running". I love Sandra to death but this song just isn't for her.

I agree...but I do like Aerosmith's version of ''Come Together''...
it's pretty good, imo.

David Bowie & Marianne Faithful - "I've Got You Babe"
(nice "habit" Marianne)

I also hate Michael Bolton's version of "When a Man Loves a Woman" by Percy Sledge and any version other than Marvin Gaye's of "What's Goin On".

Re: Hijacked classic songs

I don't think I can ever top this gem.
Burt Parks doing "Let Em In" I have never seen anything so hilarious. What's with the dancer on the left? He is frightening

I pretty much agree about the Sgt. Pepper soundtrack except for Earth, Wind, & Fire's "Got To Get You Into My Life". Excellent cover - easily the best tune on the album.

What's the point in searching for more when I'm pretty certain it doesn't get any worse than Burt doing Paul.
But I have been wrong before.
