May Chuck Berry rest in peace.

It looks likely now that Roll Over Beethoven could very well be sung for the 2017 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony closing jam with The Electric Light Orchestra and Jeff Lynne.

For Chuck Berry...

Re: Chuck Berry, Founding Father of Rock 'n' Roll, Dies at 90

I just heard about 1/2 an hour ago. The so-called "news" here (on TV and in papers) isn't very good. Something like this should've been all over the telly and on every front page for a month. Chuck was one of the greatest exponents of rock ever to roll over Beethoven! All the news services here have dropped the ball. (Not that I watch them much, but still...)

Anyhow... Goodbye, Chuck! And thanks for all the rock!

I don't think they covered his death very well here either. R.I.P.

Vintage Video: Keith Richards Plays With Chuck Berry

Over the years, Richards and Berry had the chance to play together on a number of occasions. Here's an impressive jam that also includes Eric Clapton, Steve Jordan, Johnnie Johnson, Chuck Leavell and Joey Spampinato.
