Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

Not your fault. I didn't know the season started early because of the Japan games.

Almost no one did outside of Oakland, Seattle and Japan. Considering this was MLB's idea they didn't market it in this country for crap.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

so i have a question for you all since i've never played rotisserie before, i usually play head to head. since there are maximum start limits for each position, is it safe to say that i shouldn't be making too many day to day lineup changes depending on who is and isn't playing? or am i thinking wrong about this?

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

The limit is 162 games, which is the regular season, or 1400 innings pitched, which is more than anybody is going to pitch on an five starter rotation. You can change it to a lower number to add an extra degree of difficulty, but I keep it simple for our purposes. If there was a limit, you would want to make more changes to limit your star players starts so they aren't over the limit at the end of the season. But it's not a factor in our league.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

Hey all. Anybody opposed to eliminating the can't cut list? I usually do it before the season but I didn't think of it. I've got 2 no cut players on the DL and I need to drop one but I figured I'd get everybodies input before I did it so as not to be accussed of manipulating the game to my favor. If anybody is oppossed, I'll just leave it as is.

please get rid of the can't cut list. I was wondering why certain players couldn't get cut (thankful Mariano wasn't one of them I got ri of him this morning). Injuries are too much in baseball so its unfair to have a can't cut rule.

Yeah, I usually ditch it when I set up the league, just slipped my mind this year. Kinda strange that Mariano wasn't on the list.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

yeah i have no qualms about the can't cut list. Especially since this is such a shallow league with so many star players on rosters, i think this is an ever better idea. It'll just help me win come september

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

Why, did one of them do something notable in recent days?

Trust me, if I was cheating, I'd have some frickin' pitchers.

It will only make my eventual victory more satisfying.

Re: Fantasy Baseball 2012?

Oh hell. I came in second! Pretty funny since I kind of forgot I had a team!

Guess I can't claim that the team's success had any debt to any expertise on my part...
