Rush. I do like AC/DC but Rush has had a much more interesting and varied career.

Re: Rush vs. AC/DC

Rush without question. I like AC/DC, but their music is pretty samey and Rush is a lot more creative overall.

Re: Rush vs. AC/DC

AC/DC.

I was a big fan of Rush in the late 70s and witnessed the Permanent Waves tour in 1980. After that I went off them rapidly and find it hard to listen to any of their recent releases. There were some exciting moments on the Rio dvd but not enough to rekindle my interest.

AC/DC (with Bon Scott, although Back In Black is excellent) were exciting, funny, exhilerating, magnificent and an astonishing live band......and then Bon got drunk and died in the back of a car and it was all over. The AC/DC with Brian is like a different band with only a fraction of the charisma of the Bon years.
