How 'bout AC/DC Flick Of The Switch.Very underated in My opinion almost none of the tracks are heard on the radio but it is one of the albums I can play all the way through without FastFowarding. As a kid I remember playing it after school while playing Pole Position on Atari 2600 everyday.

Got a good chuckle out of the Atari comment. For me, it was more of a Yars Revenge or Pitfall while listening to Flick of the Switch, For Those about to Rock and Black in Black.

I was going to put Flick of the Switch on my list, but decided against it at the last minute. Definitely a good album.

Re: Best Album of 1983

My favorite is not on the list- Texas Flood by Stevie Ray Vaughan. This album brought on big blues revival. Every song is good.

Re: Best Album of 1983

From The List I picked 90125 with honorable mentions to Genesis and Synchronicity.

Re: Best Album of 1983

From this list, I'd have to go with the Police. But DSOM is absolutely correct in his assertion that SRV's Texas Flood is the most important record to come out of 1983.

That album launched the 80's blues revival and revitalized the careers of B.B. King, Albert King, Buddy Guy, and John Lee Hooker, singlehandedly.
