Re: Michael Bolton and Blackjack

I remember that solo song he had called Everybody's Crazy. It was in the Rodney Dangerfield movie Back To School.

Bruce Kulick was also in Blackjack. He later went on to join Kiss and is currently playing in Grand Funk Railroad.

Re: Michael Bolton and Blackjack

Makes me wonder how he went from one genre to the other like that. Did he really like hard rock and realized he would make money singing crap or is he really into it?

I didn't know that Bruce was in Blackjack but now I'm thinking that's how Bolton came to co-write Forever with KISS.

Re: Michael Bolton and Blackjack

Yep, Bruce was in Blackjack. In fact he formed Blackjack with Michael Bolotin (as you can see, the spelling changed in time). Kulick's first claim to fame was being one of the guitarists on Meatloaf's Bat out of Hell tour.

Kulick also played with Billy Squire and was on Bolton's debut solo album. His connection to Kiss was that his brother Bob was a session musician/guitarist and friend of Paul Stanley's

Re: Michael Bolton and Blackjack

Knew about Bolton's metal period, wasn't bad actually. Didn't know Kulick was a member though! Learn something every day.
