Really just Sometime In New York City and her tunes were arguably not bad here. Sisters O Sisters is pretty catchy as is Luck Of The Irish.

Double Fantasy (and it's sessions second release, Milk & Honey would be the second. Sort of a follow up to STINYC...

Happy Christmas (War IsOver) is perfect with her on it. Don't think the song would be the same or as memorable without her participation.

Then there's the Beatles one liner in Bungalow Bill....

The "screamy" stuff was primarily while going through their primal scream therapy...and were used on their early collaborations as well as her first two...

then she began a history of what one might call, normal music. On her last two releases she tosses in a few of the primal scream moments but sparingly as a trip to the past as well as excercising a few demons.

Though when this happens nowadays it sounds alot better due to modern day production, instrumentaion, mixes and well written pieces.

I couldn't agree more. She really sings downright nice on "Luck of The Irish". Another one I like is "We're All Water". And later, "Every Man Has A Woman Who Loves Him" was a nice song. John even cut a vocal for this song himself.

I don't go for her screeching stuff at all either. On side 2 (for you LP record folks) of "Live Peace in Toronto", her wailing is embarrassing, and a waste of the fasct that John Lennon and Eric Clapton are on the same stage with guitars at the ready.

Remember John's stroy where he was walking along, in Bermuda I think, and he heard "Rock Lobster" playing in a store or something. He called Yoko on the phone right away and told her that her "sound" had finally caught on

Nope, you're right. Doesn't have to.Can't hurt to ask though.
I guess the idea of "clubbing Yoko to death", and calling her a bitch - all posted over a photo of John giving the peace sign, just made me uneasy for some reason.

So I thought I'd ask, "why".
John and Yoko playing Twister? Seriously NICE pic ..I NEVER saw Paul look that happy with Mills !
It's sort of a bittersweet photo because they look so happy, but it was near the end of his life. Alot of love in that photo.

Here's a couple of more. One is from the same session as the last one. Look at John's expression - pure Lennon.

Good point. I think that the perception of Yoko gets a little skewed because she came along as the Beatles were falling apart. It looked like she came in and performed a spell on John and drove him away from our beloved band. Actually, John wanted like all hell to do something different and meeting Yoko fueled that fire. He had to know that having her sitting in a bed in the studio during a Beatles recording session would make the other forking nuts - and it did. John forced the situation to the breaking point. Yoko didn't - HE did. And he wanted her on the records with him. For some reason the fact that we fans wanted to hear him, and not her, didn't make much of an impression on John. I can't imagine why

Heather Mills on the other hand his a money grabber. Paul offered her a huge settlement.....but she wants what like a quarter of a billion dollars or more........she would have to make some effort to spend that money in her lifetime. Furthermore.......she had jack all in aquiring that money.....Paul amassed that fortune.
That's pretty much how I feel too.
