I'm not quite sure why you paired these two up. Their music is quite different...

Zappa was a world-class guitarist, Cooper wasn't

Zappa was a musical experimenter, Cooper wasn't

Cooper had a controversial stage show, Zappa didn't

Cooper wrote top-20 hits, Zappa didn't

Both are classic rock greats, but in my opinion that's all they have in common

So which was better? Both, or neither, you really can't choose. Do you prefer chalk or cheese?
