Good Times Bad Times / Communication Breakdown

Another great rock 45. Which side you prefer?

Love both but went with GTBT...one of the great album song openers I think.

At the time the single was released I preferred Communication Breakdown but I've now grown to favour Good Times Bad Times because it's power is just so riveting.

I've thought about this for so long, I'm dazed and confused. How many more times can I change my mind?

Two great tracks, both among my favourites from the first Zeppelin album. Ultimately I went for Good Times Bad Times because it marked such a great introduction to the band and highlights the talents of all the band members, although Jones deserves particular credit for his bass work in between Page's killer riffs.

(I had an idea of starting a poll for this pair of songs, but then discovered this thread so continued it rather than start a new one).

Jones' bass work on that is so solid. Page had a great lead tone too.
