Mostly underrated by the masses but greatly appreciated by people in the know.

Ian has had a nice resurgence the last 20 years or so touring with his Rant Band. Always a good night of career spanning solo material and Mott The Hoople classics.

The Mott The Hoople '74 Tour in 2019 was fantastic.

Ian has a new album on the way according to his July newsletter...

I was disappointed in his voice these days.........the songs are just ok...nothing special , and it lacks any of the old fire and feel of the old lps. IMHO to call it a Tull album is just not appropriate. Martin Barre was on Roots and Dot Com and his guitar was part of the Tull sound and he was the last of the ole group...imho...but now they are all different players. Might as well be an Ian Anderson solo record.

∆∆∆ True, but Ian's music is still better than a lot of the garbage out there today...without any shadow of a doubt.

Bailey Tomkinson, the next best singer/songwriter out there.

It's bin' a week I never wanna repeat.. three close friends passed this last 7 days-my buddy found things post covid... just too hard to handle and sealed his own fate, I've taken in his two dogs and (as usual) retreat and hide behind music. Oddly I've been playing the many hundreds of cds I never air.
This being one- Peace out music lovers!

The Human Beinz - The Face.

Marshall Stack, that's horrible news, hang tough.

I've been listening to the new release by Sally Seltmann. She is folky and a bit dancy and delivers a nice melody. Maybe not the type of artist suited for a 'classic rock' site but this is what's playing on a Tuesday morning.

My heartfelt condolences, man :(....this post COVID syndrome seems at times worse than the actual COVID disaster itself !!!! Hang in there mate, but it's getting hard on the knees....

I'm not into classical music much, but I can appreciate good music ...in any genre ....this is Ilaria Macedonio, the daughter of my friend Paolo Macedonio, who is a classical guitar teacher in Italy.
