Re: Blood, Sweat & Tears vs. Three Dog Night!

Agreed. BS&T had a little head start on CTA (especially if you were from the NYC area.) I was in high school when Chicago came out and at that time BS&T was clearly the favorite. As time went on...

I know Jerry is not everyone's cup of tea but this is a very good and unique cover of the song.

I would never say this version is better than the Band's but TDN did a fun version and it became a staple in their concerts so others liked the version also.

I always and still like Three Dog Night BUT Blood, Sweat & Tears is in a completely different league. B,S & T get the vote here.

Re: The Beatles vs. The Rolling Stones

The Beatles. The Stones may be the best Rock & Roll band but I think The Beatles are way more influential.

I recently (last couple of years) have started seriously getting into Marillion. I prefer Hogarth over Fish as the singer (a view which seems 180 from most over at PA). I checked out Marillion...

Re: Covers that are better than the originals!

Definitely Frankie Valli has the more classic Four Seasons vocal sound (hard to beat that). John Edwards for the Spinners has the stronger more soulful sounding voice. I think they're both well...
