Well....Sabbath awas always hard rock/metal to me...Neil and Crazy Horse are rock with an early grunge proto type sound (many grunge people think so)...
The Sonics are garagerock/punk.....Blue Cheer are early psych blues rock/hard rock.....Iggy Pop are also garage rock/punk...this is how I see them but it's all subjective...ain't it?
