"Yip, yip, yip, arrrooooowww! This is Dr. Foxhound Professor Emeritus of Rock here at Hit Radio WOWW where the hits just keep on coming! And if you've tuned in for the hits, you've come to the right spot on the dial cause they'll be coming right after this word from our sponsor:

Yes, the Johnny Reb Cannon! Remember, every boy wants a Remco toy - and so do girls. Never mind the parents.

Here now are the hits:

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

Here now are the hits:

Rod Argent

Keith Emerson

Ray Manzarek

Alan Price

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrooooowww! This is Old Uncle Foxhound spinning the discs for you again tonight here on Hit Radio WOWW. If you've tuned in to hear more heavy hard rocking hits, well you'll hear none of those tonight because it's soft rock we'll be spinning. So sit back in your easy chair on your front porch or deck or whatever overlooking the bayou, open up a cold wet one, make sure some popcorn or potato chips are within easy reach and just relax! First though this quick word from our sponsor:

Yes, Cameo cigarettes and Mercury Cougars go just as well together as goldfish and roller coasters!

Here now are the hits:

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowww!!! This is Uncle Foxhound the Marquis de Marigny coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW. We're going to showcase some of the hits from the 1970's of Fleetwood Mac tonight but first this word from our sponsor, Parents for Educational Reform:

Yes, believe me, the situation is increasingly grim.

Here now are the hits:

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Bloody computers! The whole system is down big time here at WOWW. I suspect a cyber attack by the FCC is the cause. But I can't get us back on the air until it's fixed.

Nothing to do all day but play pinball and race slot cars in the meantime. I've actually invited the dastardly feline over to provide me with some competition. He's leagues better at both pinball and slot car racing than the girls.

I'm sure that WOWW listeners will be glad to know that Roscoe, Madeline, Imogen and Snowie are still drawing their full pay despite the fact that we're temporarily off the air. And I'm still keeping the cakes coming and Roscoe will continue to get his evening snack of a bucket of fried chicken to tide him over until breakfast."

"Yes, we're back!!!! This is Uncle Foxhound your top rock & roll animal on this side of the tracks coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW after an unfortunate and unforeseen interruption in our broadcasts. We here at Hit Radio WOWW have many enemies who would dearly love to take us off the air due to the politically and anthropomorphically incorrect nature of our programming but fear not! We here at WOWW will persevere.

And just to make up for our absence, we have a special extended commercial free show for all you addled , errrr avid that is, listeners. It's geared to all you punters out there who like to play the numbers, whether at the track, casino, on sporting events, at the local bingo hall or the numbers rackets called lotteries run by various levels of government these days.

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowww!!! This is Old Uncle Foxhound the Dauphin of Decatur Street coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW. Before going any further though, here's fair warning that the subject matter of tonight's show may not be suitable for all ages.

But first of course this word from our sponsor. Facing a police lineup when you absolutely, positively need to beat the rap?

Well with Benefit of San Francisco Eye Liner you can change your appearance so dramatically they'll never ID you as the perp!

Once again, due to the nature of tonight's broadcast listener discretion is advised.

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowww!!! This is Uncle Foxhound the Prince of Pontchartrain coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW. So I asked Snowie whether there was anything lacking in our shows and what if anything we could do to broaden their appeal. Her reply was that since they were never exactly romantic, we weren't doing as well in the key 15-35 year old women's demographic as we should! Well being the money grubbing capitalist that I am, I told her to get busy and make at least tonight's hit list so.

First though this word from our sponsor:

Yes, Tigress! The scent with which to bring down civilization! What more can you want from a perfume?

Here now are the hits:

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowwwww!!! This is Vicar Foxhound spreading the Gospel of Rock tonight on Hit Radio WOWW. Tonight's show spotlights some of the hits of one of the greatest balladeers from the golden age of rock, Dion both with and without the Belmonts! First though this word from our sponsor:

Yes, the Electro-Shot Shooting Gallery by Marx will delight your grandson. Better yet it will horrify your daughter-in-law! At your local antique gallery. Prices may vary.

Here now are the hits:

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowwww! This is Lord Foxhound coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW. It's pretty tough coming up with a great show of A-list hits tonight, so all you listeners out there in radioland will just have to put up with some B-sides today. They're all by the Beatles though so they're really not too bad.

First though this word from our sponsor:

Yes, Hostess Sno Balls! A box doesn't even last a minute here at the WOWW studio, let me tell you that!

So here now are the hits (well sort of):

The flipside to 'I Feel Fine'.

The flipside to 'We Can Work It Out'.

The flipside to 'Paperback Writer'.

The flipside to 'Yellow Submarine'.

The flipside to 'Penny Lane'.

The flipside to 'Ob-La-Di, Ob-La-Da'.

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."

Exclamation Re: WOWW Radio!

"Yip, yip, yip, arrrrooowwww! This is Lord Foxhound the Viscount of Vinyl coming to you live on Hit Radio WOWW. We've been unable to get the show on the air for a couple of days and this time it's not due to any kind of underhanded subterfuge by the FCC. There was a crowd of at least a hundred picketing in front of the WOWW studio and blocking the doorway when the girls and I arrived on Tuesday afternoon. It seems we've been unfair to somebody or other and they were demanding equal rights. But upon further enquiry, these equal rights turned out to be a right to an equal share of the station's income to advance whatever harebrained agenda they had in mind!

Well the girls pulled me away before I took matters into my own hands. After a bit of consideration I decided that discretion was the better part of valour and that it was about time we had an employee summer picnic. So we gathered up Roscoe who'd been making sure that Lafon Fountain over in Jackson Square was free of any dangerous goldfish and spent a wonderful relaxing day at Carousel Gardens Amusement Park.

Well the motley assemblage was still milling about the studio yesterday so I gave the girls the day off to go shopping (at full pay of course), made sure that Roscoe had enough working capital to keep the hot dog vendors in the French Quarter busy, and then Hepcat and I hit every strip joint on Bourbon Street and beyond.

I'd had fully enough of the nonsense by today though. I phoned up my buddy Zoltan and when he, Roscoe and I arrived at the studio, the demonstrators parted like the waters of the Red Sea. One look at Zoltan and Old Roscoe together is actually enough to make most people scatter and scatter they did.

To make up for being off the air so long, we have a special extended commercial free show tonight. Since one good band calls for another and we already heard from the Beatles, tonight we're going to listen to some B-sides by the Stones. Here now are the hits:

The flipside to 'Little Red Rooster'.

The flipside to 'The Last Time'.

The flipside to 'Mother's Little Helper'.

The flipside to 'Ruby Tuesday'.

The flipside to 'She's a Rainbow'.

The flipside to 'Jumpin' Jack Flash'.

The flipside to 'Brown Sugar'.

The flipside to 'Miss You'.

That's it for now! But tune in again tomorrow."
