I've always suspected that Foreigner, Journey, REO Speedwagon and Styx are all the same band, recording under different names.

I'm a tad more inclined towards Journey than I am Foreigner, but I've always got time for both!
 For the record, my two favorite tracks by Journey are... As for Foreigner, it's probably... With honorable mention going to a solo Lou Gramm number, as well as an unlikely live cover version from 1987...! Quote:

I like some of the tracks on the first 2 or 3 albums by each band.
I suppose Foreigner...a bit more bite/edge to the music in the early days.. ...and Ian McDonald is on the first 3 and he came from Crimson. The first 2 Journey are interesting and not just AOR stuff. Greg Rolie and Neil Scohn were both in Santana and on the first 3 Journey...as well as Aynlsey Dunbar on drums who played with some cool rockers in his career. |

First 3 Foreigner albums are great. I like them a lot more than Journey.
