R.I.P. Tim Bogert (Vanilla Fudge, Cactus and Beck, Bogert & Appice bassist)

It seems like the pioneers of Rock are passing at a high rate recently. Tim Bogert goes way back. I first saw him in 1970 with Cactus. R.I.P.

Vanilla Fudge, Cactus, Beck Bogert Appice,,,,great bass player and one of the first to use bass distortion.

That track by Fudge was written by Lee Hazelwood...for Nancy Sinatra...a strange one indeed since it wasn't his usual style. Lee claimed it was about Phaedra from Greek mythology.
