Re: °What's On My Racks°
... y'know it's quite cathartic compiling this thread, as I mooch through these shelves, the smell of them alone and experiences within them.. of records I actually bought and still own some 40 or 50 years later, has dredged up memories... be it a chink of light.. or a dark corridor I don't want to revisit-I am both blessed and cursed with a crystal sharp memory...
Guy Stevens captured it then and the lyrics reflect almost every Saturday for mine and our time- themdays Mott The Hoople - Saturday Kids. |

Re: °What's On My Racks°
The Unfortunate Cup Of Tea was the access album for me, Irish folk with a twist. The Tain still gets respect here, but mostly on CD format.

Re: °What's On My Racks°
ELO were a logical step from The Move (not Wizzard though)..
Another song perfected at Musicland in Munich. This and New World Record I prefer to Out Of The Blue. ELO - Poker. |

Re: °What's On My Racks°
Many years later I learned Bill Nelson was filed under 'Art Prog'... I had no notion at the time and the fact they were on Harvest was provenance enough to a 16 year old.
