Even though he's a tosser... his albums are excellent... his time with Mick Glossop was productive.

Van Morrison - A Sense Of Wonder.

Considering the lineup I always thought that one was disappointing.

His early stuff is brilliant.....most only know 2 or3 songs that made it to the radio back then.

'Sense' was 1985.....

Again a fan of all his earlier ones.....his 60's and 70's material is classic and the 80's stuff has some fine lp's after that I lost track.

Re: °What's On My Racks°

@dr wu, saw Van twice... he was just a twat... to his audience. No one had the balls to shout " Brown Eyed Girl or Moondance"... he disregarded his patrons.. by way of total contrast, Chuck Berry replied " you keep shouting and I'll keep playing".

Re: °What's On My Racks°

One of two albums, the second having a nasty cover with odd & ends added. I purchased those Dandelion sampler albums with sleeve notes by part owner, John Peel.
(anyone who knows English history will be familiar here.)

Tractor - Peterloo/ Overture.

Re: °What's On My Racks°

I realise that it was a generation thing... waiting outside a record store to buy the latest release from Mahogany Rush or Barclay James Harvest etc..
this album and band was no exception - bought this in 1976?!

Wishbone Ash - Say Goodbye.
